Does the Government have Free Boys Homes?

A teen with an outraged behavior could cause havoc and stress on a family which may cause ruined relationships. There are different types of teens who might be acting out and becoming wild on the streets which are often caught up on their new lifestyle that they could talk to with their parents. Though some would open up to their parents to let them know the reason that is causing them to act that way, there are still some who would refuse to talk or search for any kind of help. Good thing, there are a lot of options which could help them.

A juvenile boot camp is a great representation of a jail for teens. These boot camps are selected by parents who believe that their child would need a wake up punch so that they would change their lifestyle. Usually, this type of homer or girls and boys are provided by the government and so, most of the time they are free, but the parents may be required to pay for some of the necessities of their child. On these juvenile boot camps, teens are taught to respect and taught about responsibility as well as extensive physical training. The training will help them to focus on the reality of life and not on a world they are thinking of. These camps for teens will require your child to wear a certain uniform and to act like a military.

And since the government is as well alarmed with the continuous outrage of these teens and their gangs, the government has passed a bill to help these teens. In the US, their Department of Justice responded to the increasing activities of gangs and so they have established programs for gang prevention which are funded though grants to community organizations and law enforcement to prevent their activities. Cities as well have focused on this problem and so, they are targeted to have funding for fight against gangs.  These grants for gang prevention are available on states, federal and local governments as well as nonprofit organizations and this funding are available on different programs such as:

  • Juvenile Accountability Grant program. Parents would be able to stop their child from their unwanted behavior with the use of this grant which is available on private and public primary and secondary schools. Even schools may as well apply to this grant to deter teens from being under the influence of gangs and with this program; students will be helped on choosing a path for their life as well as their careers.
  • Faith Based Activity Grants- This is another grant that parents could use to help their teens. This type of grant is based on the faith of an organization with a recent history on dealing with different gangs by deterrence and creative programs.
  • GREAT or The Gang Resistance Education and Training- This type of program is for agencies that are law enforcing and even participating schools to fight juvenile delinquency, youth violence and gang recruitment in a classroom setting while their teacher and officers of law would teach skills as well as solutions to these teens to help them with their problems on their behavior.

As a matter of fact, the government may even grant parents student loans which could be use by parents to send their child in a facility of their choice. If parents would want their child to stay in a private facility to receive the best benefits, then parents could be required to pay for a larger amount of money. Thus, if parents would really want to have a private facility for their child, then they could use grants and loans from the government provided that they are qualified of the criteria of these grants. But, if parents don’t want to have a loan from the government, then, they could just place their child in a program from the government wherein, everything is free and there are different activities and skills that will be given to the teens like the juvenile boot camp. Now, what is good about this boot camp is that, parents and these teens on this facility will have more benefits from the government than those private gang prevention facilities or specialty boot camps.
